Serving Suggestions

These words create worlds. Each word is a portal, offering prompts and possibilities. 'Serving Suggestions' is encountered as an interlude, a break in the day. A pitstop, a refreshment zone.

In scrubs and lab coats, and trailing lanyards, ID badges and smartwatches, the staff guide us towards a range of apparitions.

Burns unit, mental health, oncology, research labs, emergency, operating theatres, physiotherapy, hand hygiene, building services, infectious diseases, education, administration, dermatology, haematology, heart health and diabetes research.

This project was commissioned by Linden New Art and Alfred Health for exhibition at Alfred Hospital (2023).
